Position: Purchase Officer

Job Location: Dhaka
Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree / Honors / Diploma in any discipline from a recognized institution.

Candidates with an engineering background will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
-
2–3 years of practical experience in procurement/purchase.
-
Prior knowledge or experience with fire safety products will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
-
Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
-
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet purchasing needs.
-
Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors.
-
Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
-
Collaborate with finance for invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
-
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant procurement regulations.
-
Conduct market research to stay informed on supplier trends and innovations, especially in fire products.
-
Resolve supplier or product-related issues promptly and efficiently.
-
Assist in vendor evaluation and report findings to management.
