Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial/Semiconductor Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Advanced Manufacturing and Technology team. This remote-based position offers the opportunity to lead mechanical system design for complex industrial environments, including semiconductor, biotech, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage facilities.
In this role, you will manage multiple projects and oversee full mechanical design development, including HVAC/exhaust, cleanroom design, plumbing, and process utility systems. The position reports to an Engineering Manager who provides mentorship and professional development support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical system designs, drawings, and specifications for review and construction.
 - Prepare schematics, calculations, and equipment selections in accordance with project requirements.
 - Manage project design schedules and budgets, maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.
 - Conduct code research and ensure compliance with applicable mechanical, plumbing, fire, and building codes.
 - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors throughout project phases.
 - Coordinate and review work with other engineering and production staff.
 - Travel occasionally to client sites for design coordination and field support.
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (required).
 - 8–15 years of experience in mechanical system design for complex industrial or institutional facilities.
 - Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
 - Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
 - Strong knowledge of ICC codes (Mechanical, Plumbing, Building, Fire).
 - Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
