Position Overview
As a Care Advocate, you will play a vital role in our Customer Experience Team — directly supporting patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners. You’ll manage patient communications, guide individuals through onboarding and follow-up processes, and ensure timely coordination of care. This role requires empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple priorities in a dynamic, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and providers via phone, email, and text.
 - Support patient onboarding, answer inquiries, and ensure smooth issue resolution.
 - Conduct proactive check-ins with patients and providers to ensure timely documentation and care delivery.
 - Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
 - Utilize internal tools and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack) to track communications and progress.
 - Uphold a patient-first approach by advocating for timely, compassionate, and effective care.
 - Communicate professionally and tactfully with all stakeholders.
 
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, customer success, or a related field (healthcare experience preferred).
 - Strong communication skills with professional phone and email etiquette.
 - Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
 - Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and cloud-based communication systems.
 - Empathetic, patient-focused, and collaborative mindset.
 - Must be available during scheduled hours (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday).
 
Technical Requirements
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload).
 - Access to a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace suitable for confidential communications.
